Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

I’m really fond of playing first person shooter games especially those games that are war simulation, involves stealth missions, you get to choose or pick up a variety of weapons in every mission, new tasks or actions within a mission and so on. So I get to try this game that I’ve heard that’s really good. This game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, in my opinion, is indeed really good, if not, then really awesome. It has all those features I mentioned.

I believe this game is a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which, I never have played so I can’t tell or compare it to its predecessor. But even though, when I started playing this game, I somehow got to this idea about its storyline, anti-terrorism and betrayal set in a modern day with modern weapons.

By the looks of the game, I thought my system won’t be able to handle its requirements to have a nice, stable, playable framerate as the graphics looks system hardware demanding. When the game started, I tried to max out the graphics settings and to my surprise, the game runs smoothly with a constant 60 FPS everytime. The dynamic lighting looks realistic. The audio or sound effects are very nice. Blasts from explosives, flashbangs, gun shots, etc. almost sounds like real. Controls are very easy even for the keyboard set to default settings. The weapons, as the game is set to near future, mostly are already modern. My personal favorite weapon in the game, suppressed sniper rifle with a thermal or heart beat sensor is pretty neat and quite.

Personally, I think for me, the game would be really really good if it included some heavy or armored vehicle handling or control or missions like tanks and fighter jets (Operation Flashpoint? Lol). It did have some missions riding a vehicle like the speed boat and snowmobile but other than that, you don’t get to control armored vehicles or aircraft. But still, I really enjoyed playing the game.

I think there is already a sequel to this game and I just found this video from Onion News Network saying the game will be very realistic like awaiting orders, cleaning or repairing trucks etc. (oh… ok it’s real simulation this time).

Ultra-Realistic Modern Warfare Game Features Awaiting Orders, Repairing Trucks

I’m like, . But well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see for ourselves.
